Sacwal Flooring Centres Chatham is a family-owned and operated company that has been proudly serving clients in Chatham and the surrounding area since 1978.


The assistant Operations Manager will report directly to the President to build business in residential and commercial floorcovering sales by bringing operational excellence and structure to Sacwal.

You will be responsible for leading and providing support on day-to-day operational tasks associated with running a business ranging including commercial client/partnership management.

Your goal would be to maximize both effectiveness and efficiency of our teams to ensure we function as a cohesive unit.

Ultimately, we will trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient, and profitable during the course of business.

Salary $55,000 - $65,000 plus bonus - negotiable dependent on experience


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible and accountable for the business culture and day to day operations of all teams at Sacwal including commercial sales, Estimating, operations, and installation_._
  • Collaborate with commercial customers, workers, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Working collaboratively as a member of the Team, provides strong leadership, mentoring, coaching, counseling, and development to our team
  • Assist Sales Team with daily sales activities/planning as required.
  • Providing feedback and expertise to team members regarding overall issues, opportunities, operational challenges etc.
  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, costeffective way
  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
  • Perform quality controls and monitor measurables
  • Find ways to increase quality of customer service
