How You'll Perform the Role

The quality coordinator provides quality support to projects from the planning phase to project completion and oversees all aspects of quality management with an emphasis on SQF certification maintenance.


The Quality Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Maintaining the policies, procedures and other aspects of the SQF certification program
  • Responsible for the testing of products and recording data including Lab Testing
  • Monitoring and reporting on all activities, processes, and procedures.
- conducting internal audits and reports.

  • Performing regular inspections and reviews to ensure adherence to quality and safety policies.
  • Assist in Mock Recall and Recalls and Food Safety thru GMP implementation.
  • Maintain objectives through the effective implementation of SQF certifications.
  • Responsible for training of Quality Program
  • Assist in trials and product development

What We Need From You

  • Experience with NSF SQF Level 2 or equivalent
  • Familiar with HACCP and Food Safety programs
  • Postsecondary education as Quality Technician, Process Technician or equivalent
  • Ability to work overtime when required/some weekends and shifts may be required
  • Experience with product testing, past quality experience required
  • Auditing experience a plus
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
