About the Role:

We are looking for a Customer Business Manager to join the Ferrero Canada team.

In this role, you will lead all facets of business planning and management for Sobeys QC and key drug accounts that includes IGA Quebec, Uniprix, Familiprix and McKesson.

You will make an impact by working with existing company strategies and policies with an opportunity to develop new strategies to optimize Ferrero Canada distribution, display and promotion across your assigned customers.

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, looking to build successful programs to drive Ferrero sales, market share and profitability.

The Customer Business Manager will also drive the development of annual strategic customer plans to deliver superior results against net sales and sales fundamentals objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Employ the tools and practices of: Fact Based Selling, Category Management, ROI analysis to fuel profitable top and bottomline growth
  • Identify opportunities, gaps and risks and translating these into recommendations to drive volume and profit
  • Execute strategies to maximize profitable trade promotional activity (Flyer ads, Display, Customer specific promotional activities)
  • Establish and propose volume expectations for prescribed period; develop and propose budget to achieve business results
  • Manage weekly/monthly forecasting, trade & deductions
  • Develop superior customer contacts across your customers and levels of management
  • Collaborate with other Ferrero head office departments to ensure high level of integration within the sales organization
  • Supply Chain, Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Category Management, Customer Service and the Ferrero Field Sales team
  • Develop and communicate sales initiatives to Field Sales team to achieve optimal execution at store level
  • Identify and communicate competitive activity / strategies and counter these with effective deployment of the tactics listed above

Who we are looking for:


  • Bachelor's Degree is required, ideally in business or related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in a Sales role within the CPG industry serving National customers and/or customers in the Quebec marketplace
  • Strong financial acumen: understanding of P&L and revenue growth to optimize customer strategies and management of trade funding
  • Superior business analytical skills: use of data to drive product and pricing strategies and their impact to production forecasts
  • Show a passion for moving the business forward and building and influencing both internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced skills in building and maintaining sales plans, budgets and fiscal management
  • Passion for winning and delivering beyond expectations
  • Advanced French and English proficiency is required
  • Experience with Sobeys Quebec, IGA Quebec, Uniprix, Familiprix and McKesson is a plus
