Description

• Managing incoming phone calls on the 1 phone line in a professional and courteous manner.
• Route phone calls to appropriate Sask Polytechnic divisions/departments.
• Tracking and mailing Sask Polytechnic program information requests and assisting with large mail-outs.
• Maintain detailed understanding of Sask Polytechnic divisions, departments, and personnel.
• Provide coverage in the Sask Polytechnic Provincial contact center.

Completion of Grade 12 and a one year recognized certificate in office education, business administration or equivalent or an equivalent combination of recent and relevant education, training and experience.

• Six months experience working in a busy office environment.
• Good analytical and customer relations skills.
• Good interpersonal, communication (listening, oral, writing) and computer telephony skills (i.e. multi-tasking).
• Intermediate skill level in using word processing, spreadsheet, database, electronic mail computer software packages.
• Ability to learn and adhere to Canada Post/SPM/courier standards and guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and/or cooperatively within group settings.
• Ability to grasp concepts/procedures quickly.
• Ability to work with a high level of initiative and motivation.
• Ability to operate multi-line telephone equipment.
