You as a Associate for Real Estate Development will:

Assist in the structuring and financial modeling with a primary focus on residential (condominium and purpose-built rental) transactions.
Generate underwriting analysis that will be used to inform land purchases, investments, and partnerships.
Perform relevant market research and be involved in equity and debt raising
Identify and research possible site locations for future planning and development
Interact with the lending community, building relationships with real estate lenders and underwriters
Interact with the equity investment community, building relationships with real estate investors
Assist with negotiations surrounding purchase and sale agreements, partnership documents, and development management documentation

Is this the right role for you?

34+ years of experience in real estate finance (or similarly complex) financial modeling is a requirement
University degree required. Postsecondary degrees or certifications would be viewed as as an asset
Professional certifications including CFA, CPA, CBV programs would be considered an asset.
You have highly advanced technical skills (particularly in MS Excel)
Must have the ability to work well with others, develop partnerships and work in a fast paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment
Must have excellent analytical and communication skills
