In this role, you will work to develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with independent advisors to help them meet their unique goals.

To be a successful Insurance Sales Representative, you will be personable, detail-oriented and motivated by achieving and exceeding goals.

What will you do?

  • Develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with independent insurance advisors
  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors to meet sales goals and achieve objectives.
  • Deploy contact marketing strategies to increase results with existing advisors and business partners
  • Utilize content marketing to engage more advisor and identify new relationship
  • Promote and recommend Sun Life product illustrations and sales strategies
  • Help advisors understand Sun Life products and software that will enhance their business
  • Create and maintain activities and notes on advisor interactions in SalesForce
  • Respond to inquiries about Sun Life's individual life and health products and processes

What do you need to succeed?

  • Post secondary degree or diploma
  • Knowledge of life and health insurance products
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships
  • A desire to work in a team environment
  • 1+ years of sales experience or finance experience
  • Effective problem solving and resolution skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Life license would be considered an asset
  • Mandarin language skills would be considered an asset
