EVENT PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with all inhouse Tradeshow booth setups and teardowns, including packaging materials and moving products in and out of large crates.
- Perform inhouse Tradeshow equipment cleanups, setups and dismantles using proper packaging and storage system.
- Perform a full range of warehouse activities including maintaining the Tradeshow storage area.
- Verify and accurately record inventory changes and updates, digitally.
- Coordinate with the receiving department on all Tradeshow related outbound & inbound shipments.
- Identify items that are damaged or require maintenance.
- Perform routine equipment adjustments.
- Electrical wiring and handling of production equipment.
- Accurately and neatly complete production records and documents.
- Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures.
- Must be willing to travel 20% within the year.
- Other duties as required by management.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong technical skills, ability to operate and understand basic electrical equipment controls, and touch panels.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Skill in using hand trucks, dollies and other equipment to move stock; ability to use hammers, pliers, and other hand tools; and able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to collaborate with coworkers and other department personnel.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to perform regular housekeeping and maintain general cleanliness in the work area.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Valid Passport for travel.
Additional Assets:
- Valid Driver's License and a car is an asset; small local order pickups may be required.
- Safe operation of a lift truck is considered an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 years of demonstrated work experience in conference centers, large event setups and teardowns is preferred.

Salary:
$35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
