Reporting to the Director of Social Media Growth & Performance, the Manager, Digital Acquisition Initiatives will work closely with the marketing and sales leadership teams to deliver digital marketing, partner and acquisition programs to meet our growth focused objectives and drive business results.

This person will partner with external and internal teams to identify and launch strategic pilots that create unique interactions with prospects or clients to move them through the marketing sales funnel.


What will you do?

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and performance of multichannel content, partnership programs and marketing campaigns to drive demand generation
  • Manage content and partner level program plans to drive engagement
  • Conduct competitor and industry research to identify partnerships and new areas of opportunity for Sun Life
  • Creates requisite business cases and drives program alignment across the organization from inception to implementation of new pilots and programs
  • Partners on the development of relevant content for segments and personas to build market awareness, generate demand, and accelerate the user journey through the marketing sales funnel to become a qualified lead
  • Partners with technology teams on the successful implementation and execution of programs
  • Builds and evolves performance reporting to measure the results of pilots and new initiatives and the effectiveness of content throughout the marketing sales funnel
  • Presents plans, incorporates feedback, and discusses recommendations with various key stakeholders, including senior leaders.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Digital Marketing and Campaign Execution demonstrated experience in delivering direct to digital marketing programs (social media, paid search, affiliate marketing, partnerships marketing etc.)
  • Campaign Execution demonstrated experience in managing performancebased digital marketing campaigns
  • Storytelling
- ability to draw insights from data in a way that influences others

  • Organizational Skills proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and deliver against required timelines and budget
  • Relationship Management proven ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders up, down and across the organization
  • Experience with web analytics tools and marketing technologies (i.e. Adobe and Google)
  • Understanding of direct response marketing and conversion rate optimization
  • Solid knowledge of digital media strategies and bid management tools (Search, Social, Programmatic, etc.).
  • A university degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or other relevant fields of study.
