This position may be used to fill similar current and futures positions at the Planning and Program Analyst 2 (PM2) and Planning and Program Analyst 1 (PM1) classifications.

Qualifications:
Essential:
- Postsecondary education in Commerce, Business Administration or the Social Sciences or an equivalent combination of related education, training and experience.
- Experience working with the Canadian immigration systems.
- Experience undertaking research, analysis, and assessment of policies and/or programs, verifying information and making recommendations based on policy, program criteria, goals and/or objectives.
- Excellent critical thinking and decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex issues to a variety of audiences.
- Excellent written communication skills for preparing detailed analytical or assessment reports.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fastpaced work environment.
- Strong political acumen with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive material and situations in an appropriate manner.
Desired:
- Ability to speak and write in French.
