As a Summer Student in Materials Management, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. This is a great opportunity to learn and master all functions in the Materials Management Storeroom, Mailroom, Shipping and Receiving, under the leadership of the Manager, Materials Management. Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week: 8:30am – 4:30pm (June until August 30th)

What you'll be doing:

• Prepare stock order
• Receive/expedite shipments and input receipts into computerized purchasing system
• Make deliveries across departments within the health centre

What we are looking for:

• High School Diploma completed
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must be able to lift heavy items and push/pull carts
• Excellent computer skills
• Previous experience in stockroom/delivery an asset
• Evidence of good work and attendance record
• Commitment to working within Homewood's Health & Safety Standards
