Description:


Responsibilities:


  • Process new reservations, cancellations, and amendments to existing reservations
  • Create, recommend, and suggest itineraries
  • Respond to queries regarding itinerary products and services from clients, and suppliers
  • Build relationships with key clients
  • Maintain a high level of Canadian Tourism product and geographical knowledge of Canada
  • Proof reservations to ensure the accuracy and smooth running of booked itineraries
  • Respond to complaints post travel
  • Accurately reconcile all Tour Director Expense Reports
  • Accurately reconcile and prepare for accounting Tour Director's Optional Sales Report
  • Provide Tour Directors with required supplies such as Name Tags, Manuals, Documentation, etc., and administer the distribution of such supplies
  • Book travel arrangements (air, train, coach) and look up pricing for accommodation (if required) for all Tour Directors
  • Consistently conduct oneself in a positive, professional, and friendly manner towards staff and clients.
  • Encourage and support all Jonview procedures, decisions, and events.
  • Participate in departmental, team, and corporate meetings as required.

Position Requirements:


  • Bilingualism French/English
  • Post-Secondary School Education
  • 2 to 3 years of Tourism experience
  • Able to work from the office during the season of the TD Administrator position
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Strong attention to detail and autonomy
  • Dedicated to a high level of customer service
  • Able to plan, organize and set priorities & manage processes
  • Finance, basic accounting, Excel
  • Knowledge of Canadian Tourism an asset.
  • Accounting in a tourism environment an asset.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
