What you will do:

Independently working on complex Procurement issues.
Ensures material / services are accurately acquired to meet customer objectives.
Leading more sophisticated investigations and analyses and providing advice to staff, e.g., works directly on legal review.
Maintains valuable relationships with key suppliers.
Effectively prioritizes work assignments and allocating resources while meeting partner expectations, establishing and prioritizing.
Participates in all aspects of the procurement processes including negotiating terms and conditions.

Who you are:

You have:

Fundamental competence in basic procurement activities, knowledge, and skills to make effective business decisions.

You can:

Coordinate requirements with various groups including procurement, design, projects, and construction functions and identify solutions to issues
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within a team environment

You are:

An excellent written and verbal communicator acting independently as a senior professional who can influence without authority
Proficient with the MS Office Suite to include Office, Excel, Power Pointe, and SharePoint along with a solid understanding of Supply Chain systems such as SAP/Oracle that you can use without the use of reference guides/aids

The following are considered assets:

Solid understanding of leadership supply chain techniques (including but not limited to total cost ownership principles, category management and strategic sourcing models, supplier qualification methodology)
Strong Analytical skills and Oracle Cloud proficient along with cost modelling experience
Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures along with industry trends
Excellent facilitation and project management skills with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
