    Looking for experienced manufacturing Lead Hand/ Team Lead to oversee night shift production operation.

    Wage

    29.70 per hour

    $.75 Night Shift Premium

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Report any deficiencies in systems, facilities, machinery, equipment and/or tools immediately to your supervisor.
  • Record and/or report product damage/nonconformities to your supervisor as required.
  • Comply with Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
  • Participate and contribute to effective production efficiency.
  • Perform technical training of IPM Operators
  • Set up all IPM's, trouble shoot setup, running and quality operation
  • ·Ensure staffing to meet production requirements
  • ·Complete and approve work/production orders
  • ·Complete, gather and enter production reports into KPI report.
  • ·Complete and verify machine set-up sheets
  • Review and submit all maintenance work order requests.
  • Perform the shipping and receiving duties after hours
  • Operate equipment to minimize machine downtime.
  • Direct work flow in absence of Production Supervisor.
  • ·Enforce and ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • ·Enforce and ensure Quality Assurance policies and procedures
  • ·Communicate with administrative, plant and supervisory staff as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

    • SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Prior experience with fabrication an asset
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Exhibits Leadership qualities and skills, prior leadership experience an asset.
  • Able to work productively with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms.
