Le/la Chef(fe) marketing définira l'orientation stratégique et stimulera la croissance d'un portefeuille de premier plan au sein du marché canadien de la santé des animaux de compagnie. Ce rôle est essentiel pour naviguer dans un paysage de marché en évolution et accélérer la transformation numérique grâce à une approche commerciale omnicanale solide.

Le/la Chef(fe) marketing façonnera la stratégie de marque à long terme, optimisera les modèles de mise en marché et favorisera l'alignement interfonctionnel afin d'assurer un avantage concurrentiel durable et le leadership sur le marché. Relevant de la Directrice associée du marketing, ce poste travaille en étroite collaboration avec les équipes des Ventes, des Affaires réglementaires, de la Chaîne d'approvisionnement, les équipes mondiales et les Affaires vétérinaires afin de livrer des résultats coordonnés et à fort impact.

Il s'agit d'un poste contractuel d'une durée de 12 mois, basé à Montréal (Québec). Une présence régulière au bureau principal est requise.

Responsabilités

  • Diriger l'élaboration et l'exécution de plans stratégiques à long terme, en intégrant l'évolution des modèles d'accès au marché, les tendances d'engagement numérique et les stratégies de segmentation de la clientèle.
  • Assurer la gestion du cycle de vie de la marque, de la planification du lancement jusqu'à la maturité, en veillant à l'alignement avec les stratégies mondiales tout en les adaptant aux besoins du marché canadien.
  • Contribuer à la planification du cycle de vie et au positionnement des marques Zoetis avant et après le lancement.
  • Présider l'équipe de planification stratégique concernée, en alignant les parties prenantes des équipes Marketing, Ventes, Affaires réglementaires, Approvisionnement et Affaires médicales afin d'atteindre les objectifs d'affaires.
  • Recueillir des données et des rétroactions provenant de diverses sources (données de marché, rétroaction de l'équipe terrain et des clients, études de marché, publications, conférences et contacts de l'industrie). Analyser et interpréter ces informations afin d'éclairer la prise de décision commerciale.
  • Diriger les activités de prévision de la demande et les cycles de planification financière, en assurant des projections exactes et l'alignement avec les objectifs de rentabilité et de part de marché.
  • Contribuer à l'atteinte des objectifs annuels de ventes et de profits, tout en respectant le budget de dépenses.
  • Gérer le budget de publicité et promotion qui lui est délégué pour le groupe de produits désigné.
  • Développer et mettre en œuvre des campagnes marketing omnicanales qui rejoignent les vétérinaires, le personnel des cliniques et les propriétaires d'animaux, en tirant parti d'outils numériques et de l'analytique de données.
  • Établir et maintenir de solides relations avec les leaders d'opinion clés du portefeuille ainsi qu'avec des partenaires de l'industrie, afin d'orienter la stratégie et de renforcer la crédibilité de la marque.

Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat en administration, marketing ou sciences de la vie; un MBA constitue un atout.
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en marketing, idéalement dans les secteurs pharmaceutique, de la santé animale ou des soins de santé.
  • Antécédents démontrés en planification stratégique, développement de marché et leadership d'équipes interfonctionnelles.
  • Connaissance approfondie de l'évolution des modèles d'accès au marché et des dynamiques de canaux en soins de santé ou en santé animale.
  • Solides capacités analytiques, bonne compréhension financière et jugement décisionnel.
  • Capacité démontrée à diriger et à influencer efficacement au sein d'une organisation matricielle.
  • Expérience pratique en marketing numérique, plateformes CRM, et utilisation des données pour optimiser les campagnes. Maîtrise de divers systèmes de marketing numérique, notamment (sans s'y limiter) :
  • Salesforce et Crownpeak (ou plateformes CMS d'entreprise similaires)
  • Google Analytics, Google Ads (AdWords) et médias sociaux
  • Compétences de base en design et en HTML
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication, négociation et présentation.
  • Bilinguisme (anglais/français).
  • Disponibilité à voyager jusqu'à 20 %, au Canada et, à l'occasion, à l'international.

La maîtrise de l'anglais est essentielle pour ce poste, car il s'agit de la principale langue de communication avec nos nos collègues hors Québec. Le candidat idéal doit avoir une excellente maîtrise de l'anglais afin de garantir la clarté et l'efficacité de toutes les interactions, facilitant ainsi une collaboration efficace et le travail d'équipe. La capacité à produire en anglais une documentation professionnelle de haute qualité ainsi que les présentations est essentielle.

The Marketing Manager will set the strategic direction and drive growth for a leading portfolio within the Canadian Companion Animal Health market. This role is pivotal in navigating an evolving market landscape and accelerating digital transformation through a strong omni-channel commercial approach.

The Marketing Manager will shape long-term brand strategy, optimize go-to-market models, and drive cross-functional alignment to ensure sustained competitive advantage and market leadership. Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing, this position partners closely with Sales, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Global Teams, and Veterinary Affairs to deliver coordinated, high-impact outcomes.

This is a 12-month contract position based in Montreal, Quebec. Presence at the main office on a regular basis is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of long-range strategic plans, incorporating evolving market access models, digital engagement trends, and customer segmentation strategies.
  • Adhere to brand lifecycle, from launch planning to maturity, ensuring alignment with global strategies while tailoring to Canadian market needs.
  • Provide input in the lifecycle planning and positioning of Zoetis brands prior to and post-launch.
  • Chair their respective Strategic Planning Team, aligning stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Supply, and Medical Affairs to deliver on business objectives.
  • Gather data and feedback from a range of sources – market data, field force and customer feedback, market research, publications, conferences, and industry contacts. Analyse and interpret to inform commercial decision-making.
  • Lead demand forecasting and financial planning cycles, ensuring accurate projections and alignment with profitability and market share goals.
  • Help achieve annual sales and profit targets within expense budget
  • Manage the delegated direct A&P (Advertising and Promotional) budget for the designated group of products
  • Develop and implement omnichannel marketing campaigns that resonate with veterinarians, clinic staff, and pet owners, leveraging digital tools and data analytics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders within portfolio, and industry partners to inform strategy and enhance brand credibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences; MBA is an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years marketing experience ideally within pharmaceuticals, animal health, or healthcare sectors.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, market development, and leading cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of evolving market access models and channel dynamics in healthcare or animal health.
  • Strong analytical, financial acumen, and sound decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence effectively within a matrixed organization.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing, CRM platforms, and leveraging data for campaign optimization. Proficiency in various digital marketing systems such as but not limited to:
  • Salesforce and Crownpeak (or similar Enterprise CMS platforms)
  • Google Analytics, Adwords and Social Media
  • Basic design and HTML skills
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Bilingualism (English/French)
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, domestically and occasionally internationally.

Proficiency in English is essential for this role, as it is the primary language used for communication with our clients and colleagues outside of Quebec. The ideal candidate must have a strong command of English to ensure clarity and efficiency in all interactions, facilitating effective collaboration and teamwork. The ability to produce in English high-quality, professional documents is crucial.
