As part of an integral team, the Full‑Stack Web Developer who reports the Director, Software Development, will be responsible for implementing projects and enhancements to the current web application. The ideal candidate needs to have a strong knowledge of the foundational technologies on which the web application is based. They will be working with those technologies and expanding on them as future needs arise. The ability to dive into and quickly understand the application codebase and architecture is of high importance.

Requirements

• Object Oriented PHP (knowledge of modern frameworks is not required, but understanding of MVC architecture is important).
• MySQL, including creating database schemas and writing advance queries using multiple joins.
• Understanding of Object Relational Mapping between PHP and MySQL
• Solid jQuery/Javascript with firm understanding of DOM Traversal, Ajax (with focus on the 'A'), 'Object Oriented Javascript', and JSON.
• Strong understanding of a templating engine such as Smarty
• HTML and CSS with emphasis on clean styling and rendering (knowledge of a CSS preprocessor is nice to have).
• Knowledge of functional programming paradigms.
• Follow secure coding techniques with every line of code written.
• Knowledge of a version control system (preferably Git).
• Basic knowledge of Linux command line.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.

Education and Training

• Bachelors Degree/Equivalent Experience.

The base salary range for this role listed is based on market indicators to determine compensation, and an offer will consider various factors including experience, qualifications, skills, and training.
