What We Need
The opportunity exists for an awesome person to join our growing team in the role of Business Administrator.

This involves a wide range of duties at the shop, mostly focused on customer experience, sourcing and importing products, controlling inventory and directly supporting our team.

We are looking for somebody who is technically astute, obsessively meticulous, detail-oriented, organized, humble, willing to learn and has problem solving skills.

On the job training by some of the best and top people in the off-road, overlanding field will be provided.

As EPIC enters our sixth successful year of operations the company's strategic growth plan requires a full-time Business Administrator


This position would involve:

Customer Experience

• Creating and managing vehicle build projects, including booking, receiving of payment and follow up communication with clients.
• Actively engaging with our visitors and clientele to optimize the client experience.
• Professionally responding to inquiries and assisting with social media engagement.
• Training with our technicians and leadership team on product knowledge to a level that allows for independent client advising and estimation.

Business Administration

• Working with vendors and manufacturers to manage purchases and returns.
• Working alongside our accounting team to maintain Epic's financial health, including maintaining cost of goods, sales margins, accurate labour charges etc.
• Working in QuickBooks Online to complete routine business processes.
• Managing Shopify ecommerce inventory and sales.
• Working with our channel partners at WRD to grow sales of Epicbuilt vehicles through tracking lot inventory, communicating with purchasers, producing sales decals etc.

Inventory Management

• Ordering, shipping and receiving product.
• Managing import of goods from the USA through our freight forwarder.
• Establishing min/max ordering guidelines for regularly used products to streamline ordering and maintain inventory levels.
• Leading quarterly and semiannual inventory counts.
• Working with our media team to advertise inventory that is available for purchase, especially excess or aged stock.

Shop Maintenance

• Facility maintenance and organization.
• Thinking outside the box to optimize use of valuable space.
• Maintaining and improving the client facing areas of shop, including the showroom, to create a positive experience for clients and visitors (cleanliness, organization, proper storage of inventory and equipment etc.).

Team Building

• Coordinating and participating in team meetings.
• Setting and reminding team members of regular departmental meetings (leadership meetings, Epic Mfg meetings etc.).
• Rolling with the Epic vibe

Job Types:

From $23.00 per hour
