near Olympic Village at 6th & Columbia, Vancouver BC, Canada


Core Hours:
Monday to Friday from 8am - 4:30pm

This position is required to be onsite 5 days a week.


Role Summary

The Shipping Team is responsible for creating an extraordinary service experience for our Spa Partners, Retail Customer and Onliners by picking, packing, and shipping all orders within the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

As the Shipping Team Lead, you will have a hands-on role supporting the Fulfillment Manager in leading the Canadian Shipping Teams daily operations.

You will lead, train, and develop the Shipping Clerks, all while ensuring the daily SLAs are met. In addition, you will support International and Tradeshow fulfillment.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee all shipping tasks to ensure the highest quality and efficiency for all North American Spa, Onliners and Retail orders
  • Lead regular scheduled oneonone meetings with Teammembers and provide continuous feedback and prepare and lead annual performance reviews for Teammembers
  • Manage conflicts tactfully and facilitate constructive communication between Teammembers
  • Lead and participate with Teammembers in daily activities and help drive continuous improvement activities aligned with company initiatives
  • Follow company procedures for opening and closing the warehouse outside of normal daily business hours
  • Monitor Teammember quality to ensure that all orders are picked, packed and shipped promptly and accurately
  • Lead the fulfillment of all Launch Mailing orders (to reps, media)
  • Support picking, packing, and shipping of all international orders
  • Orient and train Teammembers/new hires on product warehouse policies and procedures (i.e. punctuality, job requirements, techniques, quality issues, communication channels, safety, housekeeping, and other expectations, etc.)
  • Discuss performance issues promptly with Teammembers and manage the performance improvement process
  • Monitor and communicate progress on key team goals and companywide initiatives to Teammembers
  • Conduct regularly scheduled oneonones with Teammembers
  • Ensure adherence to safe work practices, policies and procedures and provide feedback on any occupational health hazard and safety issues
  • Participate in the Safety Committee and attend training as required
  • Ensure highest level of security for buildings, equipment and product

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift over 35lbs comfortably and regularly
  • Must be able to stand, walk, band and crouch for extended periods of time

Qualifications

  • Leadership experience of direct reports minimum 2 years
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment and using warehouse equipment minimum 2 years
  • Continuous improvement asset
  • Inventory experience asset
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Multitasking and prioritizing capabilities
  • Proven problemsolving skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability Conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion and demonstrate good judgment in decisionmaking when under pressure
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with ERP system (Sage 300) is an asset
  • Computer skills (knowledge with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams)
