DHL Express has an opening for a Front Counter Associate at our Dartmouth location.

You will support the business by accurately and efficiently managing shipments and packages in order to serve our customers' needs to the best of our ability.

Job Type:
Part-time

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 6:30-14:30

Pay:
as per CBA

In this position, you will be responsible for:

Assisting customers in person or on the telephone with the creation or collection of shipments
Conduction shipment inspections of packages to ensure compliance with DHL policy
Answering or referring inquiries from customers
Answering or referring inquiries from our internal customer service team
Participate in the organization and cleanup of the frontcounter area
Scanning freight as required
Collecting COD charges from customers
Participating in maintaining a safe and cooperative work environment

Here is what we need from you:

Ability to lift and carry parcels, up to and including 70lbs. per piece, throughout shift.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and on time within tight time constraints.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Bilingual (French /English) is an asset, but not required
