BENEFITS & PERKS
- Tool Allowance
- All Licenced Technicians, Working Shop Foreman, and 3rd/4th year Apprentices receive $1,000 every year.
- Boot Allowance
- All Licenced Technicians, Working Shop Foreman, and 3rd/4th year Apprentices receive up to $300 every two years.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Dedicated to quality of workmanship, diagnostics and maintenance repair as per required standards.
- Perform new vehicle Predelivery inspection (PDI) to factory standards.
- Reports all mechanical or safety related deficiencies not noted on the repair order.
- Refers to images and/or videos provided by the customer or service advisor to assist in identifying repairs needed.
- Performs road tests to identify issues and subsequently confirms repairs are completed to a satisfactory level.
- Provides service advisors a summary of additional maintenance and/or required work that needs to be performed.
- Provides Service Advisors with accurate parts and labour estimates through utilizing our dealership software.
- Accurately record the cause and correction of the issue in our dealership software on customer repair orders.
- Completes the Technician portion and related inspection forms.
- Maintains and follows manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
ABOUT YOU
- Automotive Service Technician Trade certification. We would consider an outstanding 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Technician with the right attitude and desire to learn.
- Experience with Import, European or Luxury vehicles is an asset.
- You have a valid Driver's license and provide a Driver's Abstract.
- Ability to carefully and safely drive both standard and automatic vehicles.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items and equipment such as tires, tools and equipment.
- You have a growth mindset and are continuously innovating and developing your skills.
