Clearpoint Health Network is recruiting for a permanent
full-time National Recruiter in our Calgary offices.


In this hybrid role, the National Recruiter is responsible for supporting the needs and challenges of attracting talent for our surgical centres across Canada.

The National Recruiter is responsible for delivering the recruitment strategy, and all recruitment needs of the organization to attract health care and other professionals.

This role works closely with the Business leads, the HR Business Partners, and administrators in the operating facility level responsible for human resources.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a leader in recruitment and identify and utilize proactive, innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent at all levels within the organization;
  • Develop cost effective, efficient, proactive and innovative solutions to meet clients' recruiting needs;
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with internal stakeholders to understand current and future recruitment needs, and determine optimum sourcing strategies;
  • Manage the job offer process, including negotiation and background checks;
  • Use ATS to maintain information during the recruitment process; ensuring all information is current and activity is updated on a regular basis;
  • Collaborate with the HR Director, HRBP, local HR admins to develop and execute a solid recruitment strategy in order to meet the organization's demands;
  • Demonstrate Company values throughout all decision making and communication at all levels of the organization
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with hiring managers to ensure a solid understanding of current and future recruitment needs;
  • Facilitate the process to post vacancies in online venues, organizations and other venues as deemed appropriate;
  • Lead the interviewing process to fill open positions;
  • Network through local contacts, association membership, conferences, educational institution, social media and active employees;
  • Represent and promote Clearpoint's value proposition at external recruitment events in a positive and professional manner;
  • Responsible for new hire administration and orientation completion in alignment with recruitment priorities;
  • Align with the national diversity policy and adapt HR strategies in order to integrate
  • Prioritize recruitment needs of the organization based on guidance from Regional Directors to ensure staffing capacity is equal to patient care volumes;
  • Extend offers and negotiate (where appropriate) in alignment with the centre's needs;
  • Monitor retention of new hires and understand reasons for turnover in order to incorporate this in the recruitment/retention strategy;
  • Some travel within Canada is required;

Education Requirements:


  • Postsecondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline

Experience:


  • Minimum of three (3) years of Talent Acquisition experience
  • CPHR/CHRP designation highly desired

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:


  • Demonstrated experience implementing successful fresh innovative approaches to talent acquisition;
  • Previous experience with an Applicant Tracking systems;
  • Proficient in sourcing techniques and social media (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
  • Knowledge of employment law related to recruitment;
  • Effective influencing and conflict resolution skills;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively provide timely communication at all levels of the organization;
  • Team player, who can collaborate well with others and also work independently with little direction or supervision;
  • Tactful and diplomatic; demonstrates discretion and business acumen; able to work with diverse personalities and work styles;

  • Strong English verbal and written skills; effective negotiation skills;
  • Selfdirected and solution oriented with a strong work ethic;
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software;
