Where We Work:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The Jr.

buyer is responsible for performing procurement activities to ensure the timely purchase of materials and equipment to meet project requirements.

Duties will include:

Working within a project team environment, potentially on multiple projects
Maintaining status reports
Assisting with expediting, as required
Assist in developing Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Purchase Orders (PO)
Invoice tracking and reconciliation
Prepare documentation expediting report
Maintain supplier database
Coordinate supplier lessons learned documentation
PO closeout activities
Completing Minutes of Meetings
Updating forms, flowcharts, procedures etc
Performing other duties as requested

Requirements:

Focus on quality with an acute attention to detail
Strong communication and influencing skills
Minimum of one year of buyer or supply chain administration
