Administrative Assistant


Fraser Valley Fire Protection is looking for a person with varied office administration experience, willing to support our office team with wide-ranging tasks and responsibilities.

Our company has been operating in the Fraser Valley for over 40 years and we continue to grow and expand.

Sales and service as our focus and we pride ourselves in providing our customers with friendly, professional service

Generate Estimates

  • Review service reports
  • Enter parts and labour codes into an estimate
  • Forward estimate to customer for review
  • Followup with customers to ensure they received and understand their estimate
Scheduling Field Work and Preparing Work Orders

  • Review customer information
  • Contact customer with date for service
  • Create work orders and calendar entry within INFOtrac software
  • Prepare paperwork and service reports for service appointments
  • Check database for outstanding estimates to match up with service
Invoicing

  • Enter completed labour and parts codes into precreated sales orders
  • Gather information from sales orders and service reports
  • Forward invoices and service reports to customers

Requirements for this position:

  • Positive attitude with the willingness to learn new procedures
  • Administrative experience (minimum of 5 years)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 36
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Customer service skills
  • Experience with general office operations and procedures
  • Solid ability to multitask
  • Superior Communication skills
  • Service scheduling and dispatch skills
  • Multi tasking in a fast paced work environment
  • Ability to learn new systems and procedures quickly
Our office hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
