Job description

Summary


The EPRA Accounting Supervisor, Accounts Payable is accountable and responsible for the end to end Accounts Payable processes ensuring that they are executed efficiently and effectively in a timely, complete, accurate, and compliant manner, and for managing the accounts payable team members.


The Accounts Payable Supervisor is required to oversee the day-to-day activities of the Accounts team and is responsible for planning and balancing the team workload and flow for the successful processing of the accounts payable transactions for service providers, employees, corporate credit card providers, and other entities to ensure accurate financial postings and timely payment.

This role is also responsible for maintaining and updating various financial spreadsheets, creating accounts payable related reports and forecasts, and performing other administrative duties of Accounts Payable.

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will also ensure the timely and accurate creation and distribution of purchase orders as required, and the ongoing weekly bank reconciliations.

Other duties shall be assigned as required.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Be a qualified university or college graduate in accounting, finance or business
  • 5 years' relevant experience with finance, analysis, accounting or reporting
  • Proactive with strong time management and deadline focus
  • Capacity to learn new accounting systems and processes with mínimal instruction
  • Very strong at managing, coaching, overseeing, and training team members
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial reporting processes and requirements
  • Sound business judgement with solid analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills
  • Experience and ability creating detailed process and system documentation
  • Demonstrated critical thinker with strong investigative skills
  • Able to present information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Bilingual with French and English would be an asset

Job Types:

Up to $70,000.00 per year
