Shuswap Lake Vacation Inc. DBA Twin Anchors Houseboats Vacations is the largest houseboat company in Canada, with the largest boats in Canada. We are the premier houseboat destination on Shuswap Lake. With 1100 km of shoreline to explore onboard our luxurious Twin Anchor houseboats.

Our guests have the ability to adventure and see the many highlights of the lake or relax on their houseboat.

We are located at the largest marina on Shuswap lake surrounded by mountain scenery. It is the perfect location for after work adventures and to work in beautiful Sicamous, BC.

Our company goal is to supply excellent service, support and an amazing guest experience so they can create lasting memories on their Twin Anchors Houseboat Vacation.

Job Title:

Hostess/Host

  • Twin Anchors Houseboats

Job Function:

Assist guests throughout check-in and check-out to ensure smooth and enjoyable transition.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Meet and greet guests upon arrival and assist in parking assignments
  • Identify captains/cocaptains and assist with their movement through the registration and orientation processes and other checkin processes
  • Assist guests returning from vacation with checkout processes
  • Performs other duties or support to coworkers as the pressures dictate within the Twin Anchors environment

Required Skills and Knowledge:


  • Strong Communication skills
  • Experience in customer service or related abilities
  • Hospitality/Tourism training and work experiences
  • Displayed strengths in dealing with conflict or aggressive customers
  • WHMIS training

Preferred Knowledge/Experience:


  • Knowledge of the houseboat industry or marine environment
  • Organizational training or recognized abilities to direct others
*Must currently be legally able to work in Canada*
