Role and Facility Information:

The Division of Medical Microbiology and Infection Control, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Vancouver General Hospital (Vancouver Acute/Vancouver Coastal), is seeking a Medical Microbiologist to fill a regular full-time position.

This position includes responsibilities in both the regional diagnostic medical microbiology laboratory and the regional infection prevention and control program.

He or she will be expected to participate in university departmental teaching programs, including undergraduate and graduate student teaching as well as supervision of residents and fellows.

He or she will also participate in administrative activities and be engaged in other activities such as university and hospital committees, and collaborative research.

Salary and hospital rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The anticipated start date of this position is flexible.
