    Accountability
  • Establishing business architecture for the IT Systems required for rail Fleet Assets operations and maintenance that enables fast and efficient development, systems integration, continuous deployments, operations, and incremental improvements.
  • Sustainability and continuous improvement of effective, efficient management of the commercial packed software / applications, that are needed for efficient and effective Fleet Assets operations and maintenance.
  • Interdepartmental relationships including collaboration with business streams and IT applications leaders to transform, migrate, build, integrate and sustain applications in the Azure cloud architecture. entities in the group to ensure seamless interaction and data flows through all relevant IT systems.
  • Cost effective development and systems integration of all Azure Cloud Systems according to benchmarks and best practices and within defined cost frameworks.
  • Close collaboration with the nominated members of the contracting authority and all third parties
  • Managing the Sub-Contractors, that develop and integrate the IT Systems to make sure that they deliver in Time, Scope, and Budget
  • Responsibility
  • Developing and Implementing a Fleet Asset solution and data strategy as an integral part of the IT Strategy and in close alignment with the Senior Manager, IT Applications and Fleet Asset Systems Lead
  • Leading technology-enabled business transformation initiatives by working closely with business stakeholders.
  • Preparing roadmaps, business cases, business process models.
  • Leading workshops with business stakeholders to identify current and future business processes.
  • Identifying and assessing solutions and provide recommendations.
  • Developing requirements, user stories, specifications, and end-to-end test scenarios
  • Selecting, implementing, optimizing, and sustaining all Fleet Asset IT Systems
  • Tracking and evaluating the latest technology trends and implementing them to perfect the Fleet Asset IT Systems
  • Creating a solution lifecycle roadmap for the Fleet Asset Systems - plan, organize, control, evaluate and improve the systems (implementation, development, operations) in alignment of evolving ONxpress needs and priorities.
  • Consult, advise and collaborate with senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization and contracting authority to identify business and technology needs, innovations and to perfect the use of asset data.
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
  • Ensure security of data within the Fleet Asset Systems
  • Responsible for the supervision of Fleet Asset projects
  • Implement a strong, collaborative customer-centric culture and IT service management procedures to continuously improve the Fleet Asset Systems
  • Audit Fleet Asset systems and assess their outcomes.
  • Draw added value from lean principles, agile methods and modern forms of collaboration (BizDevOps)
  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience
  • 4+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects.
  • Experience designing and implementing business architecture for enterprise systems, preferably in Enterprise Asset Management field.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex enterprise system integrations.
  • Experience in providing guidelines and strategy for leading practices, business analysis and risk assessment.
  • Has a record of successfully delivering IT projects, ideally in the Rail industry.
  • Competencies & Skills
  • Hands-on experience implementing Enterprise solutions (Oracle, IBM Maximo), ideally in public transportation industry.
  • Hands-on experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to understand business workflows and operations within business units.
  • Proven experience executing tasks in projects of varying complexity.
  • Demonstrated success in client-facing situations.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with a Managed Services Provider or IT services consulting firm.
  • Experience developing or supporting the development of business models.
  • Experience working with regulated environments is a strong asset.
  • Experienced in working in intercultural environments and large, complex projects.
