INTRODUCTION
Merakey Construction & Management provides both Construction Project Management and General Contracting Services. Our primary industry focus is ICI and Mult-Residential, and recently began expanding into the Residential industry. We manage General Contracting Projects ranging from $10, $250,000.00 and Construction Project Management Projects ranging from $35,000,000.00 to $100,000, In short, no matter how big or small, wepride ourselves on delivering quality projects on time and under budget. We were established in 2019, and with a short company history, we have been able to effectively develop our client base through our strong performance and successful projects.
JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee multiple projects concurrently with handson involvement when necessary
- Perform project site inspections to ensure progress is being met, quality standards are being upheld and perform closeout activities
- Coordinate with various project subcontractors to maintain construction sequencing and ensure deadlines are being met
- Organize materials for each project and deliver to and from job sites
- Maintain and organize the company storage facilities
- Assist the project manager with onsite review, quantity takeoffs and scope mapping
- Assist with project procurement and estimating
- Assist with solving any issues that may arise during each project
- Manage daytoday activities for the Project Management Team
- Perform additional assignments as required by the demands of the specific project(s) or company related activities
- Follow and uphold company safety policies
- Follow and uphold company core values
RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of construction experience
- 5+ years of handson construction building experience doing tasks such as carpentry work, painting, flooring and drywall repairs
- Works well in a teamoriented setting
- Highly motivated, has integrity, and positive attitude
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A sufficient understanding of building science and construction processes
- Familiar with reading blueprints/drawings
- Familiar with MS Excel and Outlook
- Able to put together a construction schedule and sequence of activities
- Operates effectively in a busy, high volume and deadline driven environment
- Possesses a valid driver's license, owns a vehicle and is comfortable travelling long distances
Pay:
From $70,000.00 per year
