Account Representative:
DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society Surrey, BC $24.48 to $28.52 per hour
DIVERSEcity's Interpretation, Translation and Language Testing department is a is an industry leading social enterprise business unit providing critical language support services to the market in a fee for service model that integrates for-profit business processes into a social services mission driven organization.
We are looking for a unique individual that brings a combination of strong business and leadership skills with a passion to make a difference in the communities we serve.
We are currently recruiting for the role ofAccount Representative to join our team in Surrey, BC.
The key areas of responsibility are:
- Assist in billing of customers and processing of vendor forms;
- Following up on the outstanding invoices;
- Ensuring vendor forms are completed correctly;
- Assists in other billing tasks that may be assigned;
- Processing of the transactions in the CRM;
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable functions;
- Assist in monthly reports and statistics;
- Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls promptly
- Building lasting relationships with clients and other call center team members based on trust and reliability;
- Receive business requests for interpretation and translation services, schedule and assign contract staff;
- Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted;
- Maintain intake, evaluation, record keeping and requisitions.
- Diploma or certificate in business administration or accounting.
- Two or more years' of work experience in a customer service related role preferably in a call centre environment;
- Experience with financial systems including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing and collections;
- Proficiency with computers, especially with CRM software, and strong typing skills;
Skills and abilities:
- Highly professional telephone manners, interpersonal skills, excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Fluent in oral and written English and fluent in an additional language;
- Goaldriven with ability to work under pressure;
- Good problemsolving skills;
- Strong communication and negotiation skills;
- Ability to work well with volunteers, public, and staff from diverse cultural backgrounds;
- Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice.
