The incumbent performs various maintenance, installation, inspection, adjustment and transformation work on machinery, tools or buildings.

What you will do:

Perform general maintenance of the building and facilities (interior and exterior) and various maintenance work;
Ensure the proper functioning of systems (heating, air conditioning, ventilation, etc.);
Perform repairs requiring basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, electricity, heating and ventilation;
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery in the plant;
Coordinate certain work carried out by subcontractors;
Participate in the annual preventive maintenance and calibration program;
Inspect, troubleshoot and repair equipment such as clean room, NDT equipment; dust collectors, paint booths, industrial ovens, sheet metal and welding tools;
Proceed with the improvement or modification of equipment according to requests;
Ensure facilities and operations remain compliant with local health, safety, environmental and waste laws and standards and adhere to internal quality system and regulatory requirements;
Complete documentation as needed ;
Perform other duties as required.

Your ideal profile:

Diploma of professional studies in general maintenance of buildings, building mechanics or other related training, an asset;
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Good knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and repair equipment, an asset;
Possess basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity and mechanical maintenance, mechanical adjustment and mechanical repair;
Be autonomous and very resourceful;
Excellent troubleshooting sense;
Ability to express themselves in both French and English (spoken and written).
