About us
About the job:
- Engage in field service activities, including onsite mechanical inspections and repairs, equipment installations, and root cause analysis of hydraulic failures.
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of hydraulic components and systems.
- Perform hydraulic components and systems testing to ensure they meet acceptable standards.
- Coordinate and execute tasks in compliance with company safety, quality management system (QMS), HR, and other company policies and procedures.
- Effectively conduct analysis of the condition and cause of failure, measure hydraulic operating parameters, identify component specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of Hydraulic equipment issues.
- Complete all required jobrelated paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Operate specialized repair and testing equipment.
- Actively participate in the company's Health and Safety Management System Program and adhere to all legislative requirements relevant to your position and tasks.
- Be open to overtime as required by business needs and participate in the oncall rotation.
- Always maintain a clean and safe work area and must be willing to take on additional responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a service, repair capacity with Hydraulic equipment.
- A graduate engineer in mechanical or a journeyman tradesperson with qualifications such as E.M.S.T, C.E.T, or E.I.T.
- Experience in Hydraulic data acquisition
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to successfully manage multiple small projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, as well as proficiency in computer use.
- Problemsolving skills that can be applied onsite and under time constraints.
- The ability to work on customers' sites with limited supervision.
