    Hours: Various rotating 12 hour shifts; to hrs; to hrs(hours are subject to change based on operational needs)

    This is what you'll be doing :

    Patient care for active chronic care unit, including assessments and personal care.

  • Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • BCLS certification at time of hire
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Multi-patient medication administration.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • One year nursing experience in Long Term Care setting.
  • Caring and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
  • Good team player.
  • Computer skills/RUGS III data entry an asset.
  • Evidence of dedication to continuing education.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Keen desire to work with the elderly.
  • Satisfactory employment and attendance record.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Salary: $39.07 to $56.00 per hour
