Our client is looking for a talented, motivated, hands-on individual who is passionate about quality software to join our team as a Quality Assurance Analyst.

Do you have a demonstrated ability to gain in-depth product knowledge? Are you proficient in test strategies and execution? Do you have excellent communication skills, are a great collaborator, possess strong analytical skills, love to learn and are looking for opportunities to improve? Then this position is for you

In this role, you will be responsible for testing within one of our Agile teams.

This includes designing, creating and maintaining manual test plans, implementing item, smoke and regression tests and reporting and properly documenting defects.


  • Responsible for the quality assurance of software development;
  • Participate and actively contribute to Agile ceremonies as a member of an Agile team;
  • Work closely with all team members to achieve sprint goals;
  • Analyze user stories, acceptance criteria and requirements;
  • Create and maintain functional (item, smoke, regression, etc.) and nonfunctional (performance, security, etc.) manual test plans;
  • Provide meaningful and accurate time estimates for QArelated activities;
  • Execute manual test plans carefully and promptly;
  • Detect and communicate problems quickly;
  • Document and maintain detailed and accurate defect reports;
  • Look for areas of improvement, automation, efficiency throughout the software development and maintenance process.

Does this sound like you?

  • Relevant education or work experience;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance;
  • Experience working in an agile development environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to gain indepth product knowledge;
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to ensure ability to write test plans, test cases, defect reports and documentation;
  • Proven ability to be analytical, organized, detail oriented, good problem solver, selfstarter and quick learner;
  • Motivated, always looking for ways to contribute and know how to deliver high quality software;
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence;
  • Knowledge of SQL to create datasets for testing;
  • Experience with test automation (an asset);
  • Communication with teams in French and English
