What does a Security Guard in Oakville do?:

  • Greet, inform, direct and escort various users and visitors
  • Provide assistance and evacuate the building(s) in case of emergency
  • Apprehend offenders and turn them over to the appropriate authorities
  • Detect, question and remove undesirable persons
  • Control access and exit of the building
  • Create ID's and badges
  • Coordinate with different departments and sites

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Oakville:

  • A valid security guard license and first aid card
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, afternoon shifts
  • Have a clear criminal background
  • Be eligible to work in Canada
