Financial Newsletter Writer/Presenter/Digital Marketer - Vancouver

Stride's goal is to give its customer base the tools, resources, and inspiration to help them become successful investors.Responsibilities:
- Produce wellresearched and captivating content for multiple platforms.
- Conduct oncamera presentations and interviews. The applicant must be comfortable with speaking on camera.
- Interview CEO's, market leaders, successful traders, investment bankers, etc.
- Stay current on trends and competitors, and provide input into marketing strategies and content priorities.
- Knowledge in the digital marketing sector and be able to manage and strategize Stride's marketing plan.
Education and Experience:
- Strong background in written and verbal communication Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications would be preferred but not necessary
- Experience in content marketing or copywriting
- Experience speaking on camera
- Interested in learning about the capital markets
- Experience with content creation
- An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered
Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually.
- Ability to speak comfortably and concisely on camera.
- Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions.
- Ability to edit articles, website copy and video scripts.
- Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
- Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to remain agile
- Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
- Ability to manage and strategize Stride's digital marketing plan.
Salary:
$30.00-$50.00 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
