Position Summary

:


Supporting the License and Permits Compliance SME to deliver a cost effective program that mitigates risks and ensure full compliance as it pertains to licenses and permits.


What you'll do
:


18 Month Contract


Manages the due diligence process for third-parties, including reviewing and concluding on the results of due diligence investigations and/ or audits.


Conduct monthly audits on the team to ensure supporting evidence and documentation is uploaded into GLM, while supporting with Global projects and deliverables.


Develops and maintains relationships with business stakeholder and areas across the company enterprise to ensure the License and Permits program is embedded into the ways of working.


Supports the continuous improvement of the License and Permits Program by actively reviewing the results of monthly / quarterly monitoring activities and participating in the development and execution of remediation plans, in conjunction with the Anti-Corruption Compliance Financial Controls Team.


Manages the team resources to obtain and maintain all licenses to 99% valid status, ensuring all license payments are completed and are in accordance with GLM and AC Financial controls.


Ensure all L&P third parties are adhering to the polices, procedures, and processes as defined by L&P market and global standards.


Constantly scans the internal and external business environment to monitor trends and/or identify best practices, opportunities for innovation and process improvements.

Tracks, analyzes and reports on key License and Permits performance metrics.


Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a legal, compliance, project management or external/internal audit role.
  • Experience leading a team is considered an asset.
  • Bilingual in English/ French is a strong asset.
  • Strong problem solving ability coupled with the ability to recommend and make decisions autonomously.
  • Strong time management, communication, organization, and problem
- solving skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data, decipher higher risk attributes and disposition appropriately.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Adapt to multitasking and meeting timelines.
  • Able to research and/or investigate to execute on assigned tasks.
  • Direct experience overseeing a team and the ability to deal with high volume of work and the agility to accept a very fast paced business. ‎
