In this position, you will play a key role in our student account process by working with the Student Financial Administrators and Accounting department on a number of administrative tasks.


The
Learner Accounts Administrator is a friendly, positive and energetic professional who demonstrates prompt contact and follow through, knowledgeable responses and respectful interactions.


The
Learner Accounts Administrator has strong interpersonal skills, a pleasant telephone voice, and ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.

Emphasis is placed on quality and compliance in the accurate completion of documentation and reporting as part of the College's Financial processes.


Key Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Student Loan payment entries into SASY/SF
  • Confirming Student loans for all provinces
  • Completing intake daily tasks
  • Fixing any discrepancies in SalesForce
  • Collections, posting payments & balancing accounts
  • Financial reviews for Reenrollment files
  • Exit interviews for all learners finishing their programs
  • Check and approve refund requests
  • Follow Up with funders invoices for payments (A/R)
  • EFT and CC processing and reconciliation
  • AR Aging for each campus' inactive & Active accounts
  • Withdrawals for Robertson College, including withdrawal notification to funders.
  • Updating student loan info yearly changes, repayment info
  • PAPRS and PIM entry and submission
  • SFA support for all campuses as needed

Participation in College, Division, and Program Activities

  • Attends staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Participates proactively in performance appraisals.
  • Supports active interdepartmental cooperation with other departments
  • Performs other duties/participates in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a financial / customer service related role or college finance / admissions.
  • Postsecondary education is an asset
  • Familiarity with Provincial Student Loan programs an asset
  • Experience working with internetbased communication tools
  • Strong telephone skills
  • Will use Company approved scripts and approaches during telephone calls, and will be responsible to enter information in a CRM.
  • Will observe and adhere to all Company policies and best practices and comply with related governmental regulations.
  • Highly motivated team player.
  • Must have the ability to effectively organize and establish priorities.
  • Must have excellent communication and problem solving skills.

$40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
