As part of the Trillium project based in Ottawa, we are seeking a qualified Site Project Controls Assistant to work as part of a field project controls team, including assisting the Project Controls team in progress capture, quantities take - off and holobuilder progress tracking.


How will you contribute to the team?

  • Use inhouse developed tool to capture site labor and equipment status on daily basis and produce labor and equipment status daily report
  • Take contemporary records (360 photos) and manage holobuilder database for each area
  • Capture progress on selected key commodities on a daily basis and product selected key commodities daily progress status report
  • Provide support to project control and construction team to find ways on improving accuracy of progress measurement, and to identify factors that impact labor productivities.
  • Performs any other duties that may be directed by the Project Controls Leads
  • Communicate any safety issues, regardless of the severity to Project Controls Leads.
  • Communicate data collection issues to Project Controls Leads.
  • Maintain a clean work site and work vehicle, including emptying trash from work vehicle and taking vehicle to be washed and vacuumed.
  • Refueling vehicles as required to not interfere with field work.

What will you contribute / requirements?

  • Knowledge of engineering design, architecture, or quantity surveying
  • Previous working experience in the Construction industry is an asset but not required
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Excellent in Excel and Power BI, and have good sense on data analysis
  • Fluent in oral and written communication skills
  • Superior time management and organizational skills
  • Available to travel to various projects sites
  • Valid driver's license (Class G)
