The digital mobile team is building out the capabilities required to enable Manulife to deliver a successful, high quality product and services to our customers. As a Mobile Software Engineer Director on the digital mobile team, you will bring your expertise on software development delivery to our existing and new applications. You will help drive the design and enhancements of new customer experiences, including product offering and high quality services to our customers. Lead Digital Mobile Squad and Ensure software delivery
    Builds, codes, tests, maintain high quality software
    Conduct Agile sprints and ceremonies; Translates user requirements into software requirements
    Support and guide design and building mobile applications, handling testing and managing app versions and updates
    Supervise and ensure building and coding complex software
    Manages development project
    You think big, with curiosity to discover ways to use your agile approach and enable business outcomes.
    Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
    ~4+ years of Management Experience
    ~ Good general understanding of how large scale software systems are designed, built, tested, deployed and into the hands of customers.
    ~ Good general understanding of the role of product managers, product designers, engineers, quality assurance, devops and product marketers
    ~ At least 5 years of experience working in the engineering organization of a product using common Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFE)
    ~ A minimum of 10+ years of experience in Software Development including Omnichannel Digital experiences and API Integrations
    ~ Experience in developing reusable components for middleware and mobile native development.
    ~ Exposure to iOS (Swift, Objective C) OR Android (Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, Java, Kotlin)
    ~ Familiar with CI/CD build pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitHub Merging and Branching
    ~ Test Automation Experience
    ~ Excellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies
