Our team has an immediate permanent opening for aStaff Engineer - Computational StorageResponsibilities :
Research and develop storage indexing algorithms. Perform system testing for high availability and reliable storage solutions. Develop problem determination solution for root cause identification and resolution on Storage environment. Work as part of a small, high performance, and startup-like team mainly using C/C++/Java/Python for development.
What you'll bring to the team:
Strong Knowledge and experience in algorithms, data structures, database, and transaction processing. Strong understanding of database fundamentals, such as, transaction management, storage engine, MVCC, recovery, HA. Strong knowledge of JAVA, C/C++, and Python. Strong research capability and ability to learn new technologies/products quickly. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required. Good analytics skills. Ability to handle complex tasks by assessing issues and breaking down problems to reach an optimal solution. Good understanding of computing technologies, such as, storage, distributed systems, parallel computations, consistency protocols. Distributed system research background #J-18808-Ljbffr
