Then we have a Permanent Full-time position open for a professional individual like yourself. We are looking for a Parts Counter Specialist

The Parts Counter Specialist role is to ensure all required parts are ordered and received in respect to Capital GMC Buick Cadillac standard operating procedure.

If you are hard-working, passionate, and determined, then Capital GMC Buick Cadillac is for you The Parts Counter Specialist is responsible for the everyday process in making sure vehicles coming in are completed in a timely manner. This person should be effective at maintaining a relationship with suppliers and be meticulous about ordering accurate inventory.

The Job:

Accurately identify parts necessary to complete repairs in and booked in for the shop:


  • Work with and maintain relationships with vendors to locate and order parts:
-
Order parts by phone, online and through body shop management system:


  • Ensure timely distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule:
-
Verify correct parts with mirror match:


  • Track incomplete order status (outstanding orders, backorders, and credits) and follow up as necessary:
-
Coordinating with Technicians and estimator on the supplemental damage:


  • Manage inventory, order parts, create purchase orders, and receipt invoices according to company standards and policy:
-
Answers and directs incoming phone calls and inquiries promptly, thoroughly, courteously and accurately:


  • Assists in keeping parts department and shop clean, orderly, and well stocked:

Post parts and sublet invoices and maintain an accurate accounting record of the part:


  • Keep work area clean and well organized:
-
Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective repair:


  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times:

Other duties deemed necessary by management:


The Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in a retail or wholesale parts department:
