The Director of Housekeeping is an integral role within our hotel, reporting to the Director of Rooms and overseeing the laundry and housekeeping operation by leading colleagues who clean, maintain and cater to 446 guest rooms and public spaces spread out throughout 700 acres of the resort & golf course and manage our internal laundry facility catering to the resort and external contracts.

Ensuring the highest degree of cleanliness and maintenance in accordance with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts standards, policies and procedures.
Effectively and accurately managing payroll and departmental expenses of Housekeeping & Laundry Departments, within budgeted and forecasted guidelines.Developing and executing, in conjunction with the Executive Committee, any capital projects related to guest rooms and public areas.
Actively engage with local laundry partners and consistently source new business opportunitiesEffectively manage all colleagues relationships within the department
Overseeing the Housekeeping & Laundry Management to maximize leadership synergy
Previous Senior Housekeeping Leadership experience, 2-3 years within a similar establishment is required
University degree or Hotel Management Diploma preferred
Excellent computer skills
Close proximity to Marmot Basin Ski Resorts in winter and world-renowned hiking trails in summer
