Supplier Performance Management Analyst - Thornhill, Canada - W.W. Grainger
Description
:KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal partners to identify and implement opportunities to effectively resolve issues and maintain healthy product flow into Grainger's network and direct to customer
- Mitigate risk to Grainger's business and customers by quickly identifying and effectively acting to resolve Supply Chain issues caused by medium/highimpact suppliers
- Lead cross functional process improvement projects to drive operational effectiveness
- Leverage data and analytics to identify, prioritize and solve problems or influence decisions impacting Grainger and supplier Supply Chains
- Recommend changes to complex and cross functional standardized processes.
- Influence others by analyzing and sharing vital information with business partners to ensure clear consistent business practices.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA in supply chain management, business administration, industrial engineering, or other applicable fields.
- 13 years of related experience
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills with ability to leverage data and analytics
- Ability to leverage systemic thinking to understand endtoend Supply Chain impacts
- Curiosity, creativity, and flexibility in identifying opportunities and problem solving
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities
- Proficient in SharePoint, Excel, Access, Word and/or other database and reporting tools (such as Teradata SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with SAP is preferred
