SITE SUPERINTENDENT
We are looking to add to our site management team. If you are an experienced site superintendent who works well with a team and are interested in a diverse range of quality building projects, we would love to hear from you

Our current project load includes everything from tenant improvement and restaurant spaces, to complex multifamily wood frame and concrete structures.

We work all over the city, pay competitively, and want to always foster a good team environment.

The role of a site superintendent is a critical one in the construction of any project.

It comes with responsibility and accountability but our dedicated team of Coordinators, Project Managers and Principals all work collaboratively at every step to support the superintendent and to help the common goal of a project well executed.

Skills that would be an asset to this job are:

• Strong understanding of concrete construction
• Architectural plan reading, structural plan reading, and site layout
• Ability to lead by example and push a project through its various hurdles
• Manage and coordinate city inspections and highlight documentation that is required to get through these (could potentially be done at the outset of the project).
• Decide on required site manpower and forecast manpower needs.
• Ability to work independently as well as give direction to team members/apprentices.
• Ability to follow a project schedule and manage site activities where required.
• Exposure to concrete forming, architectural concrete and exposed concrete work
• Exposure to rain screen, exterior cladding, and window installation details
• Required to establish, coordinate, and lead weekly/biweekly or semiregular trade/site meetings
• Not required but an additional valued skilled set would be an understanding of the City of Vancouver CP process and the role of consultants.
