Ruby Tuesday Restaurant.
Ruby Tuesday is a fast-paced and high-volume full-service restaurant offering a vast array of signature lunch and dinner options.
From our Endless Salad Bar and generous appetizer choices, to famous handcrafted burgers, steaks, seafood, and more, there is something for everyone Our guests can relax and take in the views of the Falls and Clifton Hill in our indoor dining area or on our rooftop patio.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the General Manager, the
Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the business unit, and for training, developing, counseling, and leading a diverse group of team members with a goal of maximizing sales and profitability, controlling labor expenses, proactively addressing Guest complaints, and ensuring safety, sanitation, and food and beverage standards are consistently achieved.

Compensation:
From $47,000 - $49,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Lead by example by maintaining a professional, positive, and friendly attitude that demonstrates a passion for providing genuine and exceptional hospitality toward all guests and employees;
- Encourage and foster a fun and safe atmosphere for staff and guests;
- Comply with, and champion, all Company policies and procedures, food safety and sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines, rules, and regulations;
- Provide incredible guest service by greeting guests promptly, answering questions in a friendly manner, proactively helping and providing accurate and timely information, making food and drink recommendations, and accommodating special requests;
- Unload, breakdown, and stock supply and product deliveries, ensuring product rotation for freshness following First In First Out guidelines;
- Knowledgeable of positions to provide guidance and support, including but not limited to, bartending and serving parttime as needed;
- Ensure diligent cash and pointofsale controls and adhere to strict cash management procedures;
- Ensure high appearance and presentation standards for the restaurant are consistently achieved; and
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management and/or Niagara Clifton Group operations.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of comparable restaurant management or supervisory experience directing work, training, and educating team members required;
- Hospitality management education an asset;
- Smart Serve certificate required;
- Food handling certificate an asset; and
- First Aid Certification an asset.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time;
- Must be able to consistently travel up and down stairs;
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills;
- Strong organization, timemanagement, and problemsolving skills;
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic work environment;
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the business;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain professional in all circumstances;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse and collaborative team; and
- Available to work varied schedules (days, afternoons, evening, weekends, and holidays) to support the business unit's hours of operation.
