_Victoria Strong Manufacturing is a wood processing company, which manufactures custom interior doors and wood trim. The company is based in Mississauga, Ontario and has been operating since 2007. We are a family-owned business looking for general labour to join our fabulous team._


Day to day tasks:

  • Operate modern woodworking machinery to produce accurate parts for final assembly.
  • Assist in various departments of manufacturing (door, trim, shipping/receiving).
  • Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently.
  • Expected to be cross trained in various areas of the production floor.

What is required of you:

  • Ability to read and discern blueprints/work orders.
  • Ability to lift 50100lbs.
  • A general understanding of basic woodworking tools.
  • A keen attention to detail.
  • A selfmotivated desire to produce valuable work.
  • A collaborative and enthusiastic personality.
  • An attitude that is hardworking and eager to learn.
  • A passion for the core values that our foundation to our company.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • BONUS: 2+ years general wood working experience (not required)
  • BONUS: current forklift licence and experience (not required)

What we offer:

  • Full time hours Monday to Friday (6:30 am 2:45 pm OR 7:00 3:15 pm).
  • Insurance Benefits after 3 months.
  • Room for growth.

Salary:
$19.50-$20.50 per hour
