- Strive to exceed service standards by supporting staff and monitor that service staff are adhering to the standards
- Provide training of protocols, policies, and procedures to all staff members
- Ensure staff have complete knowledge of menu offerings and are confident offering suggestions
- Develop employees and provide ongoing staff training in the form of daily coaching and employee feedback
- Effectively address members concerns and complaints immediately; communicate member concerns with management in a timely manner as part of the member feedback process
- Actively contribute to department teamwork including communication and collaboration with the culinary team
- Assist management with daily food & beverage administrative duties as required, not limited to, but including opening, mid-day and closing duties of staff members and supervisory end-of-night closing procedures
- Ensures compliance with all Glencoe Health and Safety standards, the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations and the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission License requirements
- ProServe Certification is required
- A proven track record, with a minimum 2-3 years food & beverage experience and a minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- A diplomatic, professional and outgoing personality; someone who is able to foster relationships with members and employees
- A team player who can lead, organize and engage in the delivery of training, development and maintenance of service standards
- Must be comfortable handling service recovery in response to member concerns
- Ability to make decision independently while displaying strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of golf courses and golf etiquette is considered an asset
- Standard First Aid & CPR-C Certification is considered an asset
- Reliable transportation is required as there is no public transportation to our location

This is a full-time seasonal position; employment will conclude at the end of the golf season (middle of October weather permitting). The position will include weekday, weekend and evening shifts, so a flexible schedule is required.
