Description

We are a manufacturing supplier to the window and door industry seeking a dynamic individual to support our production department.

We are looking for someone who likes a challenging, fast-paced manufacturing environment where they can thrive working independently and amongst a team


Summary of essential job functions:


  • Shipping and receiving admin
  • Updating production boards
  • Print production labels
  • Scheduling; prepare daily work schedule
  • Closing work orders
  • Inventory management and cycle counts
  • Minor production assistance as required
  • Documentation of procedures (SOPs, Gemba walks, 5S audits etc)
  • Audits
  • Support for production related department

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Manufacturing experience is an asset
  • Lean Manufacturing experience is an asset
  • Experience with ERP/ Data Entry software required
  • Business Central system or similar is an asset
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required
  • Computer Savvy
  • College Diploma Preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work as a team player in a fastpaced environment

Salary:
$22.00-$26.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Concord, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:


  • DCS / DEC (preferred)

Experience:


  • Business Central System or Similar: 1 year (preferred)
  • ERP systems: 1 year (required)
  • Lean manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
  • Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
  • Computer skills: 4 years (required)
