A handson financial manager with indepth expertise in real estate development and project accounting

A number cruncher with extensive handson experience providing financial insight and informing decisionmaking

You will

Lead the housebuilding accounting team and oversee all accounting and financial reporting for this portfolio
Provide financial oversight of the project proformas, banking / cash flow management, payment of trades, project and job cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting
Provide directional leadership for supporting and optimizing NEWSTAR financial systems and processes across the housebuilding portfolio
Ensure corporate reporting is accurate and timely, through handson review and updating of the project proformas to reflect the most current assumptions related to sales targets, cost budgets and cash flow forecasting on an ongoing basis
Oversee the development of business processes, internal controls, systems and procedures to ensure the integrity of information for the housebuilding portfolio Assist with the annual audit process of preparing working papers, financial statements and liaise with the auditors to address and resolve audit issues

You have

A CPA designation
Proven experience as an accomplished financial leader, with strong technical and reporting expertise
Strong Excel skills, and experience with project proformas and financial models
Knowledge of NEWSTAR, construction ERP software for housebuilders would be preferred
Exceptional oral and written communication skills; must have the ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
