Landscape Designer/Estimator

Job Duties Include:

Actively pursue new design opportunities and projects for our clients
Lead generation, cold calling, referrals
, prospecting
Inperson consultation meetings with prospective clients to establish needs wants and expectations
Present accurate and detailed cost estimates and proposals for construction projects to clients, manage new project implementation
Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
Collaborate with subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
Analyze project drawings and specifications to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities.
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather additional information for estimating purposes.
Utilize estimating software and tools to perform quantity takeoffs, cost calculations, and pricing analysis.
Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that include detailed breakdowns of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Complete final designs, in a timely manner, to customer satisfaction
Assist in the sale of installation projects from completed designs
Prepare the estimates and quote proposals for install, as required
Manage the transition of the quote to the project completion ensuring quality, efficiency, and deadlines during the installation process

Requirements:

Completion of Post-Secondary degree or technical training in a relevant field
Sandler Sales Training or Any Sales training an asset
Proven experience as a construction estimator or similar role in the construction industry
College Diploma, GED or equivalent
2+ years' experience in landscape design
Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others effectively
Ability to manage around tight deadlines and still get the details right
Fluent in English, both oral and written

$65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
