Landscape Designer/Estimator

Job Duties Include:


  • Actively pursue new design opportunities and projects for our clients
  • Lead generation, cold calling, referrals
    , prospecting
  • Inperson consultation meetings with prospective clients to establish needs wants and expectations
  • Present accurate and detailed cost estimates and proposals for construction projects to clients, manage new project implementation
  • Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
  • Analyze project drawings and specifications to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather additional information for estimating purposes.
  • Utilize estimating software and tools to perform quantity takeoffs, cost calculations, and pricing analysis.
  • Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that include detailed breakdowns of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Complete final designs, in a timely manner, to customer satisfaction
  • Assist in the sale of installation projects from completed designs
  • Prepare the estimates and quote proposals for install, as required
  • Manage the transition of the quote to the project completion ensuring quality, efficiency, and deadlines during the installation process

Requirements:


  • Completion of Post-Secondary degree or technical training in a relevant field
  • Sandler Sales Training or Any Sales training an asset
  • Proven experience as a construction estimator or similar role in the construction industry
  • College Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience in landscape design
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others effectively
  • Ability to manage around tight deadlines and still get the details right
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written

Salary:
$65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
