Job Summary
The Philanthropy & Communications Coordinator is a unique role that links fundraising and marketing playing a key part in advancing JA's mission This role reports directly to the Director Philanthropy and is accountable to the Director Marketing and Communications

Responsibilities – Philanthropy
Contribute meaningfully to overall revenue goals through proactive fundraising support Research identify and qualify funding opportunities across government foundations corporations service clubs and individual donor segments Create and prepare compelling grant proposals applications solicitation packages letters of inquiry impact reports that effectively convey JASWO's mission impact Collaborate closely with Director Philanthropy track evaluate fund development activities anticipate challenges ensure commitments meet proposed Take lead on grant calendar preparing submitting grants up $10 000 balancing competing deadlines priorities meet deadlines team goals Assist signature fundraising events helping build meaningful engagement donors sponsors community supporters Develop steward portfolio third party cause marketing events strengthening partnerships expanding visibility Cultivate strong internal external relationships communicating clearly listening actively representing organization professionalism integrity

Administrative Donor Support Maintain accurate records Customer Relationship database SalesForce accordance organizational standards best practices Maintain update donor database records mailing lists special announcements event invitations ensure accurate timely communications donors stakeholders Attend represent JA community events required discretion identify opportunities networking relationship-building raising organization profile

Addition Duties responsibilities Represent JA community professionalism enthusiasm commitment organization mission Support JA-organized events activities contributing success positive impact Perform duties assigned demonstrating flexibility collaborative team approach Under Marketing Communications portfolio coordinator supports development execution marketing communications initiatives advance fundraising donor stewardship campaigns program awareness Connector philanthropy marketing initiatives ensures consistent engaging impactful messaging channels Primary Responsibilities – Marketing Communications Create schedule social media content multiple platforms support campaigns events donor recognition program storytelling build meaningful relationships strengthen long-term engagement Develop content digital print channels website e-newsletters email campaigns donor communications Create adapt marketing templates materials for initiatives actions stewardship activities brand standards Assist creation presentations materials effectively communicate organization mission programs impact Gather organize stories testimonials photos highlight impact programs Maintain organized records content Update maintain mailing distribution lists as needed Perform related duties assigned Support outreach initiatives stakeholder groups including donors sponsors volunteers partners Liaise internal external stakeholders support outreach promotional needs requested
